New Year's Eve

This year on New Year's Eve we headed over to the P.'s home for fellowship, fun, food, and games.

Makenna helped Mumzie set out our food

"When can we eat?"
The C. family also came. It was great getting to see them again!

Getting my baby fix :)

Game time!

Drew and Melanie

"What are the symptoms of bulimia nervosa?...."

We then played a round of spoons...the most intense game of the night (if you couldn't tell by their faces :)!

I blinded everyone with my flash :)

Spoons

Spoon tricks

He caught it!
The circle is getting smaller...people are loosing

Lukas: "If I stick my tongue out like this, it helps me concentrate"

Melanie is quite popular

Father and son wrestling over a spoon :D

"I got it!"
Victory

All the losers had to hold the "loser" sign on their forehead

"You cheated!"
"No, you cheated!"

Down to the wire....the last round. Lukas: "This tongue thing really seems to work...it at least got me this far!"
Miss O. won! Sorry, Lukas...maybe try holding your tongue a different way next time :D

Loser :D

The Losers and the Winner

What a great way to bring in the new year! Thanks for having us, P. family!

Family

Last week I was so blessed to spend time with Aunt Kay, Uncle Lee, Thomas, and Christopher. Christopher, Thomas, and I went to the movies, then I had dinner with them and we played some games. It was so nice to spend time with family!

Playing the card game "No 2's"
Bugles...mmmmm

Uncle Lee and Thomas made this cool clock for Aunt Kay

The silverware is from Aunt Kay's father's family! Isn't it neat?

Uncle Lee......

...shuffling

Thanks so much for the fun time and delicious food!

Until next time,

Friends

Happy New Year to all of our readers! I hope you had an enjoyable 2011 and as you reflect upon the year that you can see God's providential hand through your life. The Morton family is so thankful for God's working in our lives this past year, and look forward to God's plans for 2012!

We had the pleasure of being hosted by the Alexander's and had a very Morton-Alexander type of visit (which means sitting around the table talking for hours on end, encouraging one-another)!

Well, some of us sat around the table, while the younger ones watched Daniel Boone :D

Two sets of amazing parents

They are so funny together!

Rose, Bree, and Brit

Rose is such a ham!

Mumzie has that special touch

Bree and Britt

Alexander family, thanks so much for having us over!
