Malcolm...Stephen and Katie, too :)

This past weekend the Morton Household took Grandma R. on a trip to see Stephen, Katie, and Malcolm!

Malcolm meeting his Great-Grandma R.

He charms us all with his smiles!

Folding laundry is fun when done with others!

How many people does it take to wash a [broken] window? :)

 Mayhem is everywhere :D

More window-washing

We were so blessed to have nice weather the whole weekend, and took advantage of it by leaf raking

I love this hat on him!

Random Picture(s) of The Week

After realizing that I haven't done any Random Picture of The Week posts on our new blog yet, I decided it was high time to do so.....although I cheated and posted two pictures in this post. I just couldn't resist! We have here my two favorite pictures from this past weekend of my newest nephew! He is such a handsome little fella. More pictures of him and our recent visit to his house coming soon, Lord willing!

Friends

It was such a pleasure to host the M. family in our home recently! Although short, it was a fun visit. There are not as many pictures as I would have liked, but isn't that always the case? :)

Looking at familiy pictures

C. also looking at photo books

Gathered 'round the kitchen island

The following day, they so sweetly helped us rake not only our yard, but also our pond! (the pond is very hard to rake!)

In case anyone was wondering, that is a lawn sweeper on the back of the tractor

Poor I., it looks like he had had too much raking :D

Daddy Dearest                                                Cute R.

The lovely Moms

S. hauling sticks

(Many thanks to Miss A. for the raking pictures!)

For lunch we roasted hot dogs

"Not the camera!"  :D (I think that might be A.'s animal cup on the table.......well, maybe not :)

Roasting

She liked her pink pig cup :)

Visiting around the campfire

Daddy used a frisbee for a shield while J. fought with a play battle axe :D

Some of the kids helped me feed the neighbor's cat...thanks for your help!

A game of Apples to Apples

D. had some college work to do

Daddy, Mr. A., and Miss A.

Mrs. M. with her partner and Mumzie with her partner

D. was done with his homework...Yay!

One of my teammates for the game Worst Case Scenario.

Our team was The Zebra's (and we were second place!)

C. all streched out and comfy

Daddy reading everyone a bedtime story....."Godfrey Gordon Gustavus Gore"

The adults and older kids finished off the night with more visiting, then we all went to church the following day. After church they left for home. Thanks for visiting, M. family!
Verse of the day taken from my Bible reading several days ago: "And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, He went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed." Mark 1:35

Until next time,
