Ski Trip, Final Part

Now for the remainder of our trip.....

Expecting to be the first ones to arrive at the ski resort, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the C. family was already there!

We enjoyed spending time together while waiting for our lift tickets

Once we started heading up the mountain to our rental house, we realized that our van would not make it up the hill. The C. family kindly hauled not only ourselves but also our belongings in their 4x4 vehicle! We were rather cramped, but it made for great memories!

The M.'s made it up the hill with the help of a snow plow

Enjoying one another's company

Getting ready the next morning to ski!

Mumzie and I often needed help with our ski boots...it had been awhile since we wore any, and they take some time getting used to :) Thanks, J., for your help!

Our cold group eating lunch

Since we still couldn't make it up the mountain in our van, Mr. and Mrs. C. picked up some chains for our tires and the M.'s tires.

A. and I waiting and watching as the guys courageously braved the cold to put the chains on

We had many helping hands

Another game of pool

What seemed like something impossible, became possible. Mr. A. and I WON! (I won't mention the fact that it was by accident, and that we really didn't deserve to win, and that I still feel bad about having won) Why do we have towels on our heads? Because that's just the way we are sometimes :D

Yes, we amuse ourselves :)

D. and J., the ones we beat. Sorry guys!

A fun and spiritually encouraging week to be remembered!

"Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgement, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Isaiah 1:16-18

  1. SAM- Looks like you all had a lot of fun (probably put mildly:-) Glad you didn't come home hurt either!:-) Thanks for taking the time to share all the pictures. The only thing I got lost on was the jumping thing- Maybe you can fill me in on that next time we talk:-) Hope you're having a good week!
